  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

    ACT is a form of cognitive behavioral therapy that uses acceptance and mindfulness skills to navigate difficult situations and experiences in a values-aligned way. It has been shown to be effective in treating a wide variety of mental health issues and is helpful in dealing with everyday life situations and stressors.

  • EMDR

    EMDR

    EMDR is a brain-based psychotherapy that has been shown to be effective in treating PTSD and a variety of other mental health issues. Clients often report appreciating that EMDR does not require them to talk in-depth about what happened to them or to complete “homework” between sessions, but still allows them to make rapid progress in processing unhealed trauma and emotional wounds and experiencing a significant reduction in symptoms.

  • Brainspotting

    Brainspotting is a somatic (in the body) technique used to process emotions in the body. Many people find this approach comforting and soothing and appreciate the flexibility of the approach and that there’s no need to talk extensively about what they are processing.

  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

    ART therapy is another somatic (in the body) approach to processing emotions or trauma stored in the body. It’s a gentle, but more directive, approach that does not require talking extensively about the traumatic experience.
